Very good restaurant that we found while visiting Jacksonville. The service from the bar to the lovely upstairs restaurant overlooking the ocean was fabulous. Eric, our server was terrific as was the food. I had the surf and turf - a filet with a perfectly cooked large lobster tail. My husband enjoyed the salmon crusted with pistachio and pesto. The spaghetti squash under it was the best I’ve ever tasted. It was our anniversary and they gave us dessert. We had the peach Melba cake, omg delicious! We will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends. The service was great and atmosphere nice. We reserved upstairs seating. It was dark so we were unable to enjoy the oceanview. The mocktails were tasty and they had the best bread I have enjoyed recently. The lobster corn dog was also delicious. I definitely recommend. The fresh catch was ok. It was undercooked for my liking. I should have clarified how cooked when ordered but also would have been nice if asked. It was also under seasoned. All parties in my group enjoyed their meal, even our vegan friend was pleased. Will visit again.

I enjoyed everything about this location the welcoming/cozy/ beautiful atmosphere and the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The drinks were tasty! The overall service and experience were excellent! I would love to give a big thank you to our amazing waiter/server name Micheal! He made our experience one to remember. He gave us great suggestions on food and drink options. He was very knowledgeable of everything! He was nice, friendly, very funny, had great energy and just simply awesome at his job! Thanks to him and the delicious food and great service we will definitely be returning to this location!!! One thing I did not like which involved one of the staff members at this location was the fact that when we ordered our bottle of Dom PΓ©rigon, our server went to put in the order for our bottle and was TOLD by another staff member to come back and ask us if we were sure we wanted to get the bottle and if we knew the price of the bottle because it was β€œsupposedly” the last one they had. I did not like this because I felt as if they only told him to ask us that because they probably figured we couldn’t afford it being that we are some young black people who had just ordered a mixed drink and a double shot of Hennessy with our food. So that person just automatically assumed we couldn’t afford that type of bottle which really blew my mind for a sec being that I was just talking to my husband about getting another bottle to open while we were there right before Michael came back to the table being that he said they got plenty bottles and being that the one we order was requested to be in fridge in chill until we leave. And so to that person I would like to say this, Please don’t ever assume that people like us would ever waist time making dinner reservations at any restaurant, sit and view menus at the dinner table and place an order wit the menu in hand just to not be able to afford to pay for anything that is ordered because you almost caused us to leave and you caused is to not even want to order anymore bottles to avoid any more questioning. To the Refinery Management team I highly request that you please teach employees to not judge a book by its cover because the ones they think not gona spend a lot will always be the ones spending the most or a lot and supporting your business in the long run! And can your team also give Michael a big thank you for having great energy with us and making us comfortable enough to want to stay after that award moment of questioning my bottle order choice.

Wanted something besides pub or beach food. Looking for dressed up grownup food! Easy walk from our hotel. Got lucky it wasn’t crowded. Downstairs much more casual but we did the upstairs dining room. Menu isn’t huge but it works and food was great. Salads and bread are extra charge. Ya get a small veggie and a starch with meal tho. It served our purpose and the duck confit & risotto was amazing!!

Refinery Jax Beach is a fantastic place to host a private event. The staff is very accommodating and were friendly with all of our guests. They have a wide variety of food options at various price points. The food was perfect and the guests that attended were very happy with everything. There is a good selection on the bar for mixed drinks. Thank you to Kira for being a great event planner!

Truly appreciate the participation in the vegan chef challenge! The mushrooms beet tartlets presentation and flavor were phenomenal! Drinks, service, view and atmosphere were wonderful! The entree fell short of expectations. Would like to see a vegan protein in my entree such as soy, seitan, or pea protein. The dish was far too much oil. The mushrooms and broccoli were good.
